1 1/2 ounces (1 jigger) vodka
1/2 cup tomato juice
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Tabasco to taste
1 celery stick for garnish
1 lemon wedge for garnish

Combine the vodka, the tomato juice, the lemon juice, the Worcestershire sauce, the Tabasco, 1 cup ice cubes, and salt and pepper to taste, shake the mixture well, and strain it into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish the Bloody Mary with the celery stick and the lemon wedge.

What is Maypole?

Maypole is a long wooden pole used to celebrate May Day or to celebrate midsummer.

It stands in position all year long and is usually repainted or replaced right before May begins. Many times they are short though so they are easy to maintain.

They are decorated with flowers and leaves to signify the new season. They are many times draped with greenery and have ribbons at the top.

Maypole's have many religious significance depending on which culture you are in.

What is thought of as the "traditional" maypole is a relatively recent development of the tradition. This comes from the Italian dances performed in mid-19th century theatricals. It is usually shorter and plainer maypole that people (usually school children) perform dances around, weaving the ribbons in and out to create striking patterns.

Maggie Agnew is a beautiful 10 month old baby girl. Her parents, Michelle and Sean Agnew realized that she was not getting bigger but instead smaller. They took her to the doctors but they had no answers. She was later brought to the Boston Children's Hospital specialists.

“So, she’s getting plenty of calories, but her body is burning all the calories that she is getting, and they don’t where it’s going to,“ said Maggie’s father, Sean Agnew.

Maggie has other problems: She was born with three holes in her heart, although two have now sealed. Her esophagus is the size of a premature infant, and she has breathing problems.

She is quite the battler and hopefully she can win this one for us. She reportedly has a feeding tube but she continues to burn as many calories and more as she takes them in.

Danny Gans died in his sleep at the age of 52 today. He is one of the most famous performers in the Las Vegas area. This one man helped to attract many people to Las Vegas. Danny Gans was a longtime singer, actor, and impressionist.

It was said that Danny Gans died suddenly in his sleep.

"All of us in The Mirage family are deeply saddened to learn of Danny's passing," Scott Sibella, president of The Mirage, said in a statement released through parent company MGM Mirage Inc. "We all knew of his devotion to his family and our hearts and prayers are with his wife and children."

Gans was found dead at 3 a.m. by his wife Julie.

Steve Wynn, chief executive of Wynn Resorts, called Gans' death "a profoundly tragic event that leaves us all sad and speechless."

Is there a Santa Claus?

As a result of an overwhelming lack of requests, and with research help from that renown scientific journal SPY magazine (January, 1990) - I am pleased to present the annual scientific inquiry into Santa Claus.

1) No known species of reindeer can fly. BUT there are 300,000 species of living organisms yet to be classified, and while most of these are insects and germs, this does not COMPLETELY rule out flying reindeer which only Santa has ever seen.

2) There are 2 billion children (persons under 18) in the world. BUT since Santa doesn't (appear) to handle the Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and Buddhist children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total - 378 million according to Population Reference Bureau. At an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes. One presumes there's at least one good child in each.

3) Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west (which seems logical). This works out to 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, distribute the remaining presents under the tree, eat whatever snacks have been left, get back up the chimney, get back into the sleigh and move on to the next house. Assuming that each of these 91.8 million stops are evenly distributed around the earth (which, of course, we know to be false but for the purposes of our calculations we will accept), we are now talking about .78 miles per household, a total trip of 75-1/2 million miles, not counting stops to do what most of us must do at least once every 31 hours, plus feeding and etc.

This means that Santa's sleigh is moving at 650 miles per second, 3,000 times the speed of sound. For purposes of comparison, the fastest man-made vehicle on earth, the Ulysses space probe, moves at a poky 27.4 miles per second - a conventional reindeer can run, tops, 15 miles per hour.

4) The payload on the sleigh adds another interesting element. Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium-sized lego set (2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 tons, not counting Santa, who is invariably described as overweight. On land, conventional reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that "flying reindeer" (see point #1) could pull TEN TIMES the normal amount, we cannot do the job with eight, or even nine. We need 214,200 reindeer. This increases the payload - not even counting the weight of the sleigh - to 353,430 tons. Again, for comparison--this is four times the weight of the Queen Elizabeth.

5) 353,000 tons traveling at 650 miles per second creates enormous air resistance - this will heat the reindeer up in the same fashion as spacecraft re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer will absorb 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy. Per second. Each. In short, they will burst into flame almost instantaneously, exposing the reindeer behind them, and create deafening sonic booms in their wake. The entire reindeer team will be vaporized within 4.26 thousandths of a second. Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500.06 times greater than gravity. A 250-pound Santa (which seems ludicrously slim) would be pinned to the back of his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force.

In conclusion - If Santa ever DID deliver presents on Christmas Eve, he's dead now.

Thomas was arrested at his apartment in South Los Angeles last month and charged April 2 with murder in connection with the deaths of Ethel Sokoloff, 68, in the Mid-Wilshire area in 1972, and Elizabeth McKeown, 67, in Westchester in 1976.

Georgia joins South Carolina on Swine Flu

George and South Carolina recently joined the states with Swine Flu list. If you are living in these states be cautious, as the flu is spreading very fast. There are over 100 confirmed cases of it and several deaths.

Georgia's case is a 30 year old woman who just recently returned from Cancun Mexico. She returned home and reportedly felt flu-like symptoms and was hospitalized. She still remains very sick.

“She is beginning to show some modest signs of improvement (but) she is still a very seriously ill” patient, he said. None of the woman’s family or close contacts has shown any symptoms but they were started on antiviral medications as a precaution, said Dr. Susan Lance, director of the Office of Protection and Safety for Georgia Public Health.

Be sure to wash hands and eat healthy to keep yourself from getting the swine flu. Be careful of everything.

He attempted to make a dunk which was very difficult as you can see in the video above and just embarassed himself. The Heat had a bad game, and the Hawk's were very dirty to begin the game. Dwayne Wade came down and got a flagrant foul which the Hawk's took advantage of hitting more than 10 field goals in a row taking a commanding lead after the first half.

This is her family. Her family asks that you do not see the photos of the car crash as they are very sad and graphic. Nikki Catsouras was speeding in a very expensive sports car and was decapitated. Days later, photos were leaked on the internet from the scene.

California Highway Patrol apologized for the leaked pictures; two CHP dispatchers were to blame. One man's attorney said that he sent the images to relatives and friends "as a cautionary tale" to warn them of the dangers of the road. "Any young person that sees these photos and is goaded into driving more cautiously or less recklessly-that's a public service."

Many people on the internet were very mean towards Nikki following the car crash. People called her stupid, spoiled, and felt worse for the Porsche than they did for her.

The family wants there to be a law and some kind of system in cyberspace to keep pictures like these from showing up all over the web. It is hard to see these things when it is someone you are close to, and it is always important to keep yourself away from this. I did not post the pictures for a reason and I recommend you don't search for them.

2. Blonde In Snowstorm

It was snowing heavily and blowing to the point that visibility was almost zero, when the little blonde got off work. She made her way to the parking lot and wondered how she was going to make it home.

She sat in her car while it warmed up and thought about her snowy situation. She then remembered her daddy's advice that if she ever got caught in a blizzard, she should wait for a snowplow to come by and follow it. That way she would not get stuck in a snow drift. This made her feel much better and sure enough, in a little while, a snowplow went by and she started to follow it.

As she followed the snowplow, she was feeling very smug as they continued and she was not having any problem with the blizzard conditions. After quite some time had passed, she was somewhat surprised when the snowplow stopped and the driver got out and came back to her car and signalled for her to roll down her window.

The snowplow driver wanted to know if she was all right, as she had been following him for a long time. She said that she was fine and told him of her daddy's advice to follow a snowplow when caught in a blizzard.

The driver replied that it was okay with him and she could continue if she wanted, but he was done with the Wal-Mart parking lot and was going over to Home Depot next.

Tragedy sorrounds Mariana Bridi da Costa. The Miss World Finalist had her hands and feet amputated after contracting a serious urinary tract infection. She had become sick on December 30 but was misdiagnosed with Kidney Stones.

The Herald report adds, "Bridi was diagnosed with a infection by the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium, which can often prove fatal. Septicemia set in in her limbs, cutting off circulation and forcing doctors to amputate."

This is a sad a terrible tragedy. This doesn't take away her beauty as she is still a very pretty woman, but she will not be able to compete in the Miss World competition that she had been a finalist for. I feel bad for her having to go through something like this, not only can she no longer compete, she is missing hands and feet due to lack of technology. If doctors had diagnosed her correctly, she wouldn't be going through this.

Jay McGwire calling out his brother? Mark McGwire is a player sorrounded with controversy. He has tried to get into the hall of fame for the past three years but doesn't recieve a high enough vote. Does he deserve it?

Well for one thing not many guys hit over 500 homeruns which Mark McGwire did. He also held the homerun record for a single season with 70. He was one of the best players in the season during his time, and helped lead the Athletics to the World Series. He did strike out a lot, and he wasn't the best defensive player in the league. Many guys have made the Hall of Fame despite not being a good defensive player. He was one of the better players of his time and always topped in homeruns, but does he deserve to be in the hall? Jay McGwire probably doesn't think so.

Jay McGwire came out and said his brother Mark took Andro, Steroids, and HGH during his career. Im glad Jay McGwire isn't my brother. He wanted to get these things out and wants Mark McGwire to live in what he calls "freedom."

One thing - At the time Mark McGwire took Andro, it was a legal substance and there is no evidence he took it after it became illegal. Another, Mark McGwire isn't the only guy who takes steroids in the league and I can bet about 60% of baseball players have taken steroids at one point in their lives.

Jay McGwire is an idiot, and Mark McGwire, although some may call a cheater, deserves to be in the hall of fame because he would have been a remarkable player whether he took steroids or not, it takes more than steroids to have a great career in baseball.

Jeff Kent to Retire

One time MVP Jeff Kent is going to retire and hang up his uniform. He is the all-time leader in homeruns at the second base position and is most likely a hall of famer due to an impressive baseball resume. He is expected to announce Thursday at Dodgers Stadium.

Kent is now 40 and is a 5 time all-star. He was an all star 5 times. He is one of the best 2nd basemen to play the game and he was great on and off the field. He was the MVP in 2000 and helped bring the San Fransico Giants to the World Series in which they eventually lost.

Although he was a very angry baseball player and many people to not like him, it is hard to keep him out of the hall of fame.

A police officer in was directing traffic outside of a concert. He noticed a familiar-looking truck driving by — his own. The sight led to the arrest of James Matthew Herring, 22. He was charged with theft and evading arrest, police said.

Officer Jerry Varner said he parked his pickup about 100 yards from where he was directing traffic Saturday night. He said he didn't see anyone breaking. He did recognize his truck driving by him though.

When Varner ordered the driver to pull over, the man put the truck in reverse and attempted to get away, striking several vehicles, police said.

When police cars sorrounded the truck, Herring tried to flee but was caught shortly after.

Sextuplets born to New York Couple

After they already had one kid, Digna and Victor Carpio gave birth to six more in one shot. Jhan Carlos Carpio, who is 7, just got 6 more siblings, four brothers and two sisters.

Justin, Danelia, Jezreel, Genesis, Joel and Jadon Carpio were born at 25 weeks and weighed about 2 pounds each. "I've watched each of my babies fight so hard to survive," Digna told the New York Daily News. "Life is beautiful, and we're so thankful."

This is a weird but good story. These babies showed true fight, and now Digna and Victor Carpio only have to take care of seven kids. Imagine when they are all teenagers at the same time? They will have a load to take care of.

Customs found a soiled diaper at a U.S. Mexico crossing. It was soiled with.. Sausage? The diapers were folded to look soiled, but all that was found inside was spicy links of pork sausage. A South Texas woman admitted to doing it. She was not identified after the incident, and was fined $300.

I don't know what she was trying to achieve, maybe she was just really pissed, but this just seems stupid to me. So she lost money paying for sausage and diapers, and was fined $300 dollars. Oh, and she is an idiot.

Twenty-six-year-old Dennis Klermund was waiting on a husband and wife who found a bag of pot with their tacos. The waiter immediately denied the bag, but police search dogs found more pot in a locker. He was fired on the spot and arrested. Dennis Klermund said the pot was meant for a friend. This took place at a Del Taco in Colorado.

There just isn't much thats better than tacos, but with pot? Just some weird news for you to enjoy throughout the day.

With every picture, I get more excited to see this flick. I hope it is all it's cracked up to be. It better be way better than Saw IV which I was very dissapointed by. The movie looks pretty gory from that one picture, and as you can see Tobin Bell has returned yet again. This is supposably the last of the Saw movies, and if you haven't seen any, I suggest you head down to blockbuster and rent them because they are good. I suggest the first and second, as the third and fourth were too complex, but I think the fifth will be awesome.

Rays and Phillies

I am disgusted to watch the Rays play right now. After a Cinderella Story season, it is just terrible to watch. They are playing right now like they could care less, which is just awful. This team had one of the best records in the regular season, and proved themselves in the Playoffs by beating the Red Sox in the ALCS.

My disappointments
Evan Longoria and Carlos Pena, the 3-4 hitters do not have a hit yet in the series.
Sonnanstine - Bad start from a guy who shuts down most AL teams.
B.J. Upton - After 2 great series before he is playing down to what he is able to.

There are others, but right now it is just awful watching the Rays lose to this Phillies ball club. When Jamie Moyer and Joe Blanton shut you down on back to back nights you need to realize you suck.

Hannah Overton

In 2006, 4 year old Andrew Burd was brought to the hospital without a clue of what was wrong with him. Blood tests proved that he had salt poisoning. His level of hypernatremia was almost double of the highest ever recorded.

Everyone turned to Hannah Overton, 29 year old pregnant mother of four who was currently adopting Andrew. She and her husband were arrested immediately, but swore they were not guilty of this crime. She said she put a few dashes of creole seasoning in a sippy cup of water instead of giving him more food for lunch that day. He got sick, and Hannah thought it was just a flu, until it didn't get worse. She brought him to the hospital where he died shortly thereafter. It was then when she was arrested.

People in their community were outraged, and raised $700,000 for their cause. They said Hannah Overton was a good christian and would be the last person to do this.

"We were just waiting for someone to look at it and say 'This is just an accident,'" Larry Overton told "20/20." "Instead, we were arrested."

Hannah said recently Andrew had been eating any kind of food he could find. After dinners he would go through the garbage can and eat the dog and the cat food.

Hannah Overton was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison in September 2007.

"I just kind of broke down," Larry Overton said. "And I just stared out a window for ... I don't know ... probably about an hour."

Larry is now a single father with five children, including the newbord Hannah was pregnant with during the time of Andrews death.

My Story
I believe she wasn't guilty. The problem was that she most likely got angry at the boy and put a couple of teaspoons of this creole seasoning in his water. I am sure she didn't have the intentions of killing Andrew, considering she already had kids and had no criminal record. America is strict on their laws though, and this is a good lesson to learn.

Cuzco Peru

Cusco mob attacks municipality, radio station and mayor's home.

A mob of citizens have been protesting the construction of a hydroelectric plant in Peru. Specifically in Canchis, a province in the region of Cusco(Pronounced Cuzco). Two Policemen were attacked when confronting the angry mob of people. The protestors attacked sicuani radio station and organized a protest outside of the national bank. They destroyed office supplies and equipment in the radio station. Tourists and students have been stranded in this region of Peru and ask for help. The mob is starting to block major roads and bridges, not allowing anyone to get through.

The Story
I think these people are crazy. They will not get what they want and they are wasting their time. Anyone who is in that mob should get out immediately because they will be arrested if they continue.

The other thing is that a hydroelectric plant is actually good for the environment, and the only huge drawback is that if there is no water, then it will not function. But, water is a renewable resource and the plant is unlikely to run out of water, and if it does, you can always get extra from lakes, rivers, and other sources.

The mob is stupid and should stop now before during further damage to their country.

Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were killed today in Chicago. Darnell and Jason Hudson were found dead at 3:00 in the chicago home investigators said. Police say it is "domestic" which also means it was not a robbery. Jennifer Hudson was an American Idol contestant, and was the star of the movie Dream Girls. She is also an oscar winner.

The Story
Police have not found a specific motive yet. This story was very sad news for me to hear. Nothing is worse than when two innocent people are killed. I feel bad for Jennifer Hudson, and this shows that celebrities have problems just as much as everyone else. I feel bad for Jennifer, who had life in her hands up until this point. I wish the best to Jennifer and the rest of her family, as she will be deeply missed.

Longtime Arizona men's basketball coach Lute Olson is reportedly stepping down. He had 25 years at Arizona, and missed the entire 2007-2008 season during a divorce. Lute Olson is now 74. In his 25 years he has a 780-280 career record at Arizona, Iowa, and Long Beach State. His record with the Wildcats was 589-187. This includes a national championship in 1997, four Final Four appearances, 11 Pac-10 titles, and 20 consecutive 20-win seasons. Olson has also won seven Pac-10 Coach of the Year awards.

Olson announced last year he would be returning to Arizona for another year, so his successor Kevin O'Neill left the program and took a job as assistant coach for the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies. Olson made it obvious he wanted to be there another year, but just couldn't do it. He took a leave of absence last year in November and O'Neill took over from that point. Arizona finished seventh in the Pac-10 last year, the worst finish they've had since the 1982-1983 season - the year before Olson was head coach there. Arizona still ran their streak of NCAA appearances to 24, despite missing head coach Lute Olson.

The most likely cause of Lute Olson stepping down is his age and health. When taking a leave of absence for a divorce last year, he also said it was for health reasons too. He is now 74 years of age, and has 25 years of basketball under his belt. While he did enjoy a good run at Arizona, his age is starting to catch up with him.

Vitale says associate coach Mike Dunlap will fill in for Lute Olson as interim coach. Arizona has denied this report. The best bet now is to wait and see.

I give my best wishes to Lute Olson, his family, and his friends. He had a great run as a college basketball coach, and Arizona will miss him dearly this season. The Wildcats will play their first opener on November 17 against Florida Atlantic. This will be their first opener without Lute Olson in the program in two decades, and I wish Arizona and Lute Olson the best.

Oprah sued over man's arrest on extortion charge

A Louisiana man has filed a lawsuit against Oprah Winfrey, claiming she and an attorney made false statements that led the FBI to arrest him on charges that he tried to extort the talk-show host.

Keifer Bonvillain who had charges dismissed, looks to get $180 million from Oprah.

He was arrested in December of 2006. He had a phone conversation with an employee of Oprah's production company and told a company associate he wanted to publish a book based on the recordings. Bonvillain was arrested when a company associate agreed to pay him 1.5 million dollars. Bonvillian claims he did everything he could to avoid illegal activity.

Chip Babcock, who is a lawyer for Harpo productions said "And we know that this whole episode started when the plaintiff wiretapped a Harpo employee in California," he said. "We advised (Bonvillain) that we believe that wiretapping was illegal, and this case will give us an opportunity to determine whether we were right about that."

My Opinion
Who would sue Oprah? She is one of the most powerful women in the world and this guy thinks he is going to win? Well most likley she will lost about 0.00000000....1 of her earnings in court dates, but she really did nothing wrong and this guy is looking to win a case he can't. This guy claims he did everything he could to avoid illegal activity, yet he was talking to someone from Oprah's production company about getting money. He will most likely lose and nothing will come of this.

Mortgage Attorney Shot to Death

Police in Suffolk County say a man found lying in a Commack restaurant parking lot Monday afternoon had been shot in the head.
The victim was identified as 44-year-old mortgage attorney James J. Di Martino, of Nesconset.

The story
So a woman was in a parking lot and saw a man laying in a pool of his own blood. Now something like this is just awful. It is terrible the things people do to others just because they don't get their way. The lady immediately called 911, and the police arrived shortly thereafter. The woman actually made a wrong turn into the parking lot and by the time the police arrived there was no trace of evidence. So, this man killed an attorney who either screwed him over, or he was just really pissed off. Killing is not the way to go, if you want to kill, go hunting and do it legally, don't kill people who do not deserve it. The only people that deserved to be killed are the ones on Death Row.

A plane leaves Los Angeles airport under the control of a Jewish captain.

Organic?

It is the new thing in food. Go Organic. The foods contain no hormones and won't make you sick blah blah blah. Is this really true? Alex Avery's "The truth about Organics" will make you save a couple dollars on your next trip to the supermarket. There is nothing proven that says Organics are really better for you. Heres something to remember the next time you are buying: "Organic food is more likely to carry pathogenic bacteria, such as salmonella and E. coli, because of the type of fertilizer that organic farmers use" Avery said. He also said that "Some of the natural pesticides used in organic farming are quite toxic." Avery also says that Organic Milk does not have one difference from regular milk when tested.

What about organic foods positive effects on the environment?
Well, Organic foods require less energy in terms of fertilizer use, conventional farms can produce more food with less energy. In the end, Organic foods will cause more harm to the environment than conventional foods.

My opinion: Until it is actually proven that these "whole foods" really help your health, only buy certain organic foods and stick to conventional ones for now. It is not worth spending more on something organic if it could have a negative effect, and people have been eating conventional foods for years and we haven't found big negative effects. I suggest buying organic spaghetti sauces, peaches, strawberries, potatoes, corn, and tomatoes. Peaches are very high in pesticides, and when produced organically they can lose some of these. Other foods, particularly onions, won't make a difference whether produced organically or conventionally.

Best Barbecue

Its fall, its football season, and the weekends are a time for barbecue and football. I am going to tell you today some barbecue techniques I use for ribs and chicken. First off, I am going to suggest small chicken with bones, which includes drumsticks and mini chicken wings. Usually chicken breast tends to become dry and these other two just come out with better taste. I prefer to use homemade barbecue sauce with this recipe, which is sweet and smoky at the same time.

1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup chopped yellow onion, finely chopped
1 1/4 cups ketchup
1/3 cup chili sauce
4 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon liquid hickory smoke flavoring
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder

In a small saucepan, sauté the chopped onion in butter until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings. Delicious on chopped pork sandwiches or use with chicken. Do not cook too hot, just simmer and make sure all ingredients mix together.

You may change things as you please, but I enjoy this recipe very much and I found an original on www.about.com and these are my revisions which aren't very much.

Now I am going to tell you how to make barbecued chicken drumsticks or wings, and ribs.

Chicken Drumsticks
Smother barbecue sauce all over the chicken, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Take chicken out and keep the remains of the marinade sauce. I suggest cooking chicken on aluminum foil sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray or rubbed with olive oil to prevent dark crispy spots. Put chicken on aluminum foil and put grill to medium heat. Cook 15-20 minutes, coating once with marinade halfway through cooking time. Turn chicken and coat again, and let cook 20-30 more minutes. Be sure to re-coat marinade 2-3 times. Chicken is done when juices run clear. If you have any remainder of the barbecue sauce which wasn't in contact with the raw chicken, put on the chicken now for added flavor and messiness.

Chicken Wings
Wings will come out better deep fried, but here I am going to tell you to grill them because it is a healthier option. Remove smallest section of each wing and throw out. Take the remaining wings and marinade for about 30 minutes in the fridge, turning once halfway through. Preheat grill. Place wings straight onto grill grates and cook 20 minutes, 10 minutes each side over medium-low heat. Be sure to rub sauce on once when turning. Take off. Place barbecue sauce on at end that didn't come in contact with raw chicken wings.

Ribs
Marinate ribs one hour in barbecue sauce and add one cup orange juice. Place in fridge. Preheat oven to 250 degrees right before you take ribs out of refrigerator. Get a baking pan and put ribs neatly into baking pan. Cook for about three hours depending on amount of ribs you are cooking. Ribs should fall off bone. If you want them to be crispy, preheat grill to medium heat and cook each side 5 minutes or until barbecue sauce becomes crispy.

If you are hosting a party, these are two great recipes. It is easy to put ribs in oven while cooking hot dogs, burgers, or chicken on the grill. Everyone loves these ribs, and be sure to make sure juices are clear before serving, because more ribs=more time. Good luck and hopefully you use these recipes at your next barbecue.

If you are looking for low calorie meals, look no further than soup. One can of Steak and Potato Chunky Cambells soup has only 260 calories and has 20 grams of protein. Not to mention it is very filling with pieces of steak and potato and mushroom in it. The real trick isn't eating the soup, its eating it without sides (crackers, chips, cookies, ice cream etc.)

1 Cup of Progresso traditional chicken noodle = 100 calories and only 2g of fat.
1 Cup of Cambells chicken and rice = 90 calories and only 3g of fat.

It isn't hard eating these soups, its hard turning down that big cheeseburger or cheesesteak which is loaded with 600-800 calories and just eating around 2 - 2.5 cups of soup. If you decide to get fast food instead of get soup, you will lose money and gain calories.
Everyday choice of 250 calorie soup over a 650 calorie burger for lunch
One day you save = 400 calories
One week you save = 2800 calories(3000 calories = 1 pound)
One month you save = 12,000 calories(4 pounds)
One year you save = 146,000 calories(roughly 48.5 pounds)

Now although this can be a little skewed, if you are trying to lose weight, it may not be the best idea to eat that burger and it could be a good idea to eat the soup, you can lose around 4 pounds a month. Next time you need lunch and want it to be good for you, go to the supermarket and pick up soup, it is microwavable, easy to eat, and most importantly good for you!

Gears of War 2

With this game hitting the market, I cannot wait to buy and try. Gears of War one was awesome and Gears of War two looks very similar based on the videos and pictures I have seen but a lot of the glitch's were probably fixed. I Just played Gears of War and now I want this game.

Another Action shot, pretty awesome

So if you are looking for a new game, and can't decide what to buy, I recommend buying this one, even if you wait a month because after christmas there will be a lot of used ones for sale. The game releases on November 11, 2008 and I will probably pick it up within that week and write my own review on it. Right now I am addicted to NCAA Football 09, I couldn't recommend that game enough.

Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?

Lately, broker is the right name for him. With the 700 billion dollar bill just being accepted, it is just wait and see for America. Stocks have been plummeting for the past couple months and it is clear that our country is in a recession. I don't understand how just all of a sudden we got into a recession and how come everybody talks about it? No one wants to invest right now because it is risky, and people know that because you can't turn on the news without hearing about the fact our country has been going downhill. Think of this one...
If the government never said we were in a recession, would we be in one?
I ask this question because if people didn't know we were in a recession they would still be buying stocks and investing, but since people are aware of it, they hold on to their money and only buy necessity's. This has put many shops out of business, and made many people bankrupt. Next time our country is booming or sinking, how about we don't tell anyone about it?

The Jurors said they all disagreed in his trial 13 years ago in which he was tried for killing his wife and got off. This time he was guilty with 12 charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. This ex-football player and now convict attempted to steal memorabilia he said was stolen from him.

My opinion: O.J. Simpson should already be in jail but its good he is now. Everyone who voted not guilty when O.J. did murder his wife should serve in a prison for 2 months because they are partially responsible for this crime. He should serve the rest of his life in prison and hopefully he does. How could someone so rich(Winona Ryder) try to steal when they can already have so many things others can't. Instead of stealing, how about donating like most honorable celebrities do? O.J. is officially an idiot.
